We have created a completely new product with a new production method in response to a large number of inquiries from our customers and interested parties.
The task was to create a self-supporting sintering plate for debinding and sintering processes up to 1400°C with clear advantages in handling and performance.
Our KERAEX is an excellent material to accomplish this task.
A high-purity aluminum oxide, a fine porous structure paired with a smooth surface provides very good debinding behavior, whether thermally, catalytically or via solvent debinding. Due to its high stability in the process, whether during handling or under the influence of high temperatures, you can use KERAEX as the sole plate for charging, debinding and sintering. The advantages are therefore obvious. The low material thickness and the porous matrix lead to a reduced heat requirement for your sintering process. This saves energy and therefore costs.
KERAEX is designed for the debinding and sintering of LTCC ceramics, solid oxide electrolytes, dental ceramics and metal injection molding (MIM) components.
All sizes are available in thicknesses of 4-5 mm. If you wish to drill holes in the panel, this is also no problem.
