ATS

ATS was developed primarily for thin-film applications, specifically as a substrate material for platinum thin-film sensors such as Pt100, and can be easily cut or patterned using a laser or wafer saw. Thanks to its high mechanical strength and fine grain size, this material experiences far fewer chips—known as “chippings”—along the manufacturing edges during the production process compared to other common materials. Due to the ATS’s very fine grain structure, it is possible to create highly precise platinum structures with correspondingly good resistance values. Try it out for yourself.
