Filter ceramic

^KERAFOL® manufactures ceramic filter discs with different diameters and pore sizes for micro- and ultrafiltration.
They are used in rotary filtration and dynamic cross flow filtration (DCFF) for solid-liquid separation.

The disks are made of porous _Al2O3 ceramic (pore size 2 µm) and are coated to achieve finer filter finenesses of up to 5 nm (asymmetrical layer structure).
Filtration takes place from the outside to the inside.
The filtrate collects in channels inside the disk and is guided to openings on the inner diameter.
