KERATHERM® Softtherm® films are a group of high elastic ceramic filled foils. They are characterized by their extremely good compressability, their optimum with good thermal conductivity and good electrical properties at the same time.
These foils are especially suitable to compensate bigger component irregularities as well as for applications sensitive to pressure.
86/125 – high elasticity
SOFTTHERM® 86/125 has a good thermal performance at good dielectric and mechanical properties. The single-sided softtherm film 86/125 has a fibre glass reinforcement up to a thickness of 4.0 mm.
86/200 – high elasticity
These high elastic films are characterized by their excellent compressibility as well as their moderate thermal and excellent dielectric behaviour.
Type 86/200 is constructed as two-ply film.
86/225 – high elasticity
Softtherm 86/225 has a good thermal conductivity at good dielectric and mechanical properties. Single layer Softtherm Film 86/225 has a fibre glass reinforcement up to a thickness of 4.0 mm.
86/235 – no bleeding out of volatilesilicones
This foil is a single layer compressable foil with good thermal, mechanical and dielectrical properties with very low leaking of volatile silicones <150 ppm.
86/300 - high elasticity
This softtherm film is characterized by compressability, softness as well as good thermal behaviour. Thicknesses up to 1.0 mm are fibre glass reinforced.
86/320 – high elasticity
The single layer Softtherm Film with good thermal and electrical behaviour is partially fibre glass reinforced.
86/325 - Compressibility and softness
This softtherm film is characterized by a good compressibility and softness together with good thermal behaviour. These single-layer films are fibre glass reinforced up to a thickness of 1.0 mm.
86/450 – high thermal conductivity
This Softtherm Film is characterized by its extremely high thermal conductivity. The single-layer film without fibre glass reinforcement is soft and compressable. The good dimensional stability of this film ensures a controlled and automated processing.
86/525 – high thermal conductivity
This is a softtherm film with a high thermal conductivity. Characteristics of this film are a low heat transfer with dielectric behaviour and a good compressibility
SOFTTHERM® U 110 is suitable for silicone sensitive applications and is an good alternative to silicone based SOFTTHERM® Films.
The silicone free film U 110 offers high electrical insulation and good thermal conductivity.
The Keratherm® - Softtherm® 3500 is characterized by very good thermal, 3.5 W/mK, and dielectric, 10kV/mm, properties. Due to its very good elastic and adaptable behaviour, the 3500 is also very suitable for pressure sensitive applications.
The SOFTTHERM® 6000 is characterized by very good thermal and dielectric properties. Due to its very good elastic and adaptable behaviour, the 6000 is also very suitable for pressure sensitive applications.
