Heat conducting films
Standard films have a smooth surface in order to ensure that there is no entrapped air that would interfere the heat transfer between the component and the heat sink. The material compensates microscopic irregularities on the contact surfaces, which improves the thermal interface and therefore increases the heat dissipation. [more information]
Gap Filler Liquids
Thermal compounds can be well used for encapsulating whole applications and for dispensing housing lids or heat sinks. Thanks to its easy handling, it allows even the most complicated geometries to be encapsulated. [more information]
Softtherm films are the ideal material for compensating even large component irregularities. Thanks to its excellent compressibility, they realize an optimum thermal contact combined with electrical insulation. Supplied thicknesses from 0.5 - 5.0 mm. Heat conducting films silicone free
Silicone free standard films are used wherever the use of silicone can lead to problems. Besides excellent thermal and electrical properties, these films are characterized by their good cut-through resistance. [more information]
Thermal greases are especially characterized by its good plasticity and its very low thermal resistance. There is no drying out or leaking of the silicone components! [more information]
The Adhesive Films KL 90 und KL 91 are thermoconducting, electrically isolating, double sided adhesive films. They have an excellent, permanent adhesive strength with high thermal conductivity at excellent insulation at the same time. [more information]
KERATHERM® Bond RT 100 is a thermally excellent conductive two-component adhesive with short curing time. It provides an effective thermal connection between electronic components and heatsink. [more information]
Graphite films are based on 100% pure graphite. The films are available as uncoated types or with filled adhesive or standard adhesives for specific applications. [more information]
Phase-Change-Material is produced on the base of phase changing properties. These films compensate even the smallest irregularities between power module and heat sink, thereby optimizing the contact between the surfaces and increasing the heat transfer. [more information]
Each film type requires its own special adhesive system. Next to soft elastic adhesives with lower adhesive strength, Kerafol offers also adhesives with high adhesive strength, or with different fillings for an improved heat transfer. [more information]
