A new developed process at KERAFOL enables the fabrication of ceramic capillaries.
With a new forming process the for the extrusion processes typical abrasion that may contaminate the tubes is avoided. In fact the capillaries are intended for filtration processes but they may also be applied for tubular solid oxide fuel cells.
- Outer diameter of the tubes: 1 - 4 mm
- Delivery forms: sintered or green
- Wall thickness: 150 - 300µm
- Porosity: ~40 – 50 %
