KERAL (Aluminum oxide 96% and 99,7%)
Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is the technically most important oxide ceramic material with the widest utility. Densely sintered aluminum oxide distinguishes itself by:
- high strength and rigidity
- temperature stability
- high resistance to wear and corrosion even at high temperatures
- Depending on the content, very fine (< 1µm)
- to coarse grain structure
- good heat conductivity
- high dielectric strength
In use, these synthetically produced materials with 80% to 99.99% aluminum oxide content have stood the test. The choice of material depends on technical and economic criteria.
The Kerafol company has specialized in substrate material containing more than 99.4% Al2O3. Here both dense and porous materials are available.
