Ceramic for high-performance products

Aluminum oxide 96% and 99,7 %
ZrO2 stabilized aluminum oxide

KERAL (Aluminum oxide 96% and 99,7%)

Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is the technically most important oxide ceramic material with the widest utility. Densely sintered aluminum oxide distinguishes itself by:

  • high strength and rigidity
  • temperature stability
  • high resistance to wear and corrosion even at high temperatures
  • Depending on the content, very fine (< 1µm)
  • to coarse grain structure
  • good heat conductivity
  • high dielectric strength

In use, these synthetically produced materials with 80% to 99.99% aluminum oxide content have stood the test. The choice of material depends on technical and economic criteria.

The Kerafol company has specialized in substrate material containing more than 99.4% Al2O3. Here both dense and porous materials are available.
